Glen W. McLaughlin, Ph.D.

President and Chief Technology Officer

Glen W. McLaughlin, Ph.D. has served as our VP of Engineering and CTO since August 1999. Prior to joining us, Dr. McLaughlin held engineering positions at In-Cube, Inc., a medical research laboratory, from July 1994 to July 1999 and Cardiac Pathways Corp., a medical device company, from 1992 to 1994. Dr. McLaughlin holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a M.S. from Stanford University.


Priscilla J. Ryland

Vice President of Business Development & Corporate Accounts

Priscilla J. Ryland has served as our VP of Business Development & Corporate Accounts since October 2011. From 2005 to 2011, Ms. Ryland served as National Accounts Manager where she managed and grew key relationships with Broadlane/MedAssets, Department of Defense, HealthTrust Purchasing Group, Kaiser Permanente, St. Jude Medical, Sutter Health and other strategic partners. Prior to joining ZONARE, she was with Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. - Ultrasound Division and Acuson for 20 years, where she held various positions in Sales and National Accounts. Ms. Ryland started her career in the clinical environment and graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.

Steve Edwards

Vice President, U.S. Sales

Steve Edwards has served as our VP of U.S. Sales since May 2012. Edwards brings more than 25 years of successful medical sales and executive experience to ZONARE Prior to ZONARE, Edwards held sales management positions at Siemens Medical Solutions, Acuson and Toshiba America Medical Systems. His most recent position was National Sales Manager for GE Healthcare, General Imaging Ultrasound, where his team helped increase market share to 48 percent of the US ultrasound market. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oregon State University.


Dan Bradford

Vice President of Operations

Dan Bradford joined ZONARE as VP of Operations in March 2012, bringing more than 25 years of operational experience within the medical device industry, including ultrasound. He has extensive expertise in the development and commercialization of complex, high-quality medical systems and bringing those products to the healthcare marketplace. He will oversee the customer support, quality, manufacturing, product service and regulatory teams. Prior experiences to ZONARE included Vice President of Operations at Auxogyn, Inc, Vice President of Operations at Hansen Medical, Inc. as well as Sr. Director of Catheter Engineering. Dan also was the Director of Program Management at Kyphon and Engineering Program Director at Siemens Medical Solutions Ultrasound Division where he held management positions in marketing, field operations and corporate quality at Acuson Corporation. Bradford earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with emphasis on management from San Diego State University.

Tim Proulx

Vice President of Engineering

Tim Proulx joined ZONARE in June 2015 as Vice President of Engineering. Previously, Tim held similar positions at Sonitus Medical Systems and EarLens Corporation. He has had numerous senior level engineering responsibilities at Cabochon Aesthetics, BC Tech and Acuson/Siemens Medical. Proulx holds a B.S. in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He also has five patents issued within the medical imaging and device field.


H. Thomas Anderton, Jr.

General Counsel, Secretary

Tom Anderton joined Zonare Medical Systems in 2013 and oversees the legal and compliance functions at Zonare. Prior to joining Zonare, he was Vice President, Legal Affairs at Presidio Pharmaceuticals. A patent attorney by training, Tom has been either the head lawyer or Chief Patent Counsel at Monogram Biosciences, Genencor, and SUGEN, where he has created many of the world’s most highly rated IP portfolios. Before working in Life Sciences, Tom was focused on appellate, constitutional and First Amendment law and was responsible for co-writing trial briefs in the ISKCON v. City of Los Angeles (Hare Krishna/LAX) First Amendment case(s). Tom earned a J.D. from the Vermont Law School, a B.S. in molecular biology from UCSD and an M.S. in Molecular Genetics and Cancer Biology from Stanford University.
