Jay D. Miller
President and Chief Executive Officer
Jay Miller was named our Chief Executive Officer and director in July 2010. Prior to joining us, Mr. Miller served as President & CEO of Kappametrics, Inc., a company focused on developing novel product solutions for the combined EED and MRI markets. From 2002 to 2008, he served as President & CEO of Vital Images, Inc. , a publicly-traded medical imaging company. He also served as General Manager and Vice President-Business Development from August 1998 until February 2002. Furthermore, Mr. Miller was Vice President-Marketing and Business Development for Vital Images from February 1997 to August 1998. From 1989 until his employment by Vital Images, Mr. Miller was employed by GE Healthcare in positions of increasing responsibility in the marketing area, including serving as product manager of MRI imaging products and marketing manager for the cardiology market segment. Before 1989, Mr. Miller was employed by Siemens Medical Systems in technical marketing. Mr. Miller holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Dartmouth College, Master's in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia, and an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management Northwestern University.
Timothy A. Marcotte
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Timothy A. Marcotte has served as our Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since October 2007. From April 2004 to October 2007, Mr. Marcotte served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance and Administration of VNUS Medical Technologies, Inc., a medical device company. From October 2002 to April 2004, Mr. Marcotte was an independent financial consultant. Mr. Marcotte holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Anthropology/Zoology from the University of Michigan.
Glen W. McLaughlin, Ph.D.
Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer
Glen W. McLaughlin, Ph.D., has served as our VP of Engineering and CTO since August 1999. Prior to joining us, Dr. McLaughlin held engineering positions at In-Cube, Inc., a medical research laboratory, from July 1994 to July 1999 and Cardiac Pathways Corp., a medical device company, from 1992 to 1994. Dr. McLaughlin holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a M.S. from Stanford University.
Mark M. Miller
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Mark M. Miller has served as our VP of Sales and Marketing since March 2003. Prior to joining us, Mr. Miller served as VP of Ultrasound Sales at Siemens Medical Solutions, a medical device company, from March 2001 to March 2003. Mr. Miller holds a B.A. degree in Business Management and History from Albion College.
Douglas W. Tefft
Vice President, International
Douglas W. Tefft has served as our VP, International since April 2003. Prior to joining us, Mr. Tefft served as CFO of Advanced Imaging Technologies, Inc., a medical device company, from September 2001 to January 2003. Mr. Tefft holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
