Responsibilities

The senior hardware engineer will collaborate with other design engineers on the design and development of various board and box level digital and analog hardware designs for Zonare’s medical products. The successful candidate will design, prototype and certify the hardware. The successful candidate will be an experienced and proven energetic self-starter, eager to learn, eager to produce.

RequiredSkills

  • BSEE degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience (MSEE preferred)
  • Experience in guiding PWB layout
  • Candidate for this position must be able to operate with minimal supervision, work in a multi-task environment across organizational boundaries, and communicate effectively
  • Strong analytical, problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skills
  • A solid understanding of complex HW and SW system architecture
  • Strong understanding of system bus protocols, circuitry and latest technologies
  • Strong understanding of design for signal integrity
  • Strong understanding of design for manufacturability
  • Experience with schematic capture tools and design for EMI compliance
  • Excellent lab skills and willingness to work in a lab environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
