Electro - Mechanical Technician
Description
ZONARE has a great opportunity immediately available for a highly motivated Electro -Mechanical Technician to join our hardworking, fun, team oriented, private medical device company within our worldwide service organization. This position requires an individual capable of supporting the development and testing activities related to the z.one ultrasound system. In addition, this person will be required to document all testing including conceptual design rendering. The individual should be able to work independently as well as work effectively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assembling prototypes and equipment.
- Implementation of experiments / testing as well as prep and clean up.
- Collection and analysis of data, and testing.
- Perform mechanical testing- includes compression tests.
- Performing preventative maintenance on service lab equipment.
- Ability to work with outside vendors to secure tools and necessary supplies.
RequiredSkills
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience. Medical Device experience preferred.
- Knowledge of machine shop tools, machinery.
- Familiar with typical mechanical analysis and measurement tools.
- Familiar with descriptive statistics.
- Trained in GMP and ISO design control procedures.
- Ability to clearly document tests and related procedures.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Familiar with traditional office PC applications such as Microsoft word and excel
